The Memory Map draws your whole project as one map: tasks, references, drafts, roles and accepted Project Memory, and the links between them. It shows at a glance what a piece of work relied on, and what relies on a decision.

Open **Memory Map** in the sidebar.

## What is on it

- **Clusters** for **Tasks**, **Results**, **Project Memory**, **Roles**, **Planning**, **Files**, **Context packs** and **Rules**. Inside Project Memory, records group by collection, otherwise by document.
- **Links** come from the project itself: who a task is assigned to, what a task references, what a record is linked to, board connections, drafts and approvals. You never draw them by hand.
- The layout stays the same between visits, so you can find things where you left them.

## Moving around

- Drag to pan; zoom with the wheel or a pinch. Zoomed out, clusters fold; zoom in and they open.
- Hover a point to light up its links. Select it to open its details: its **Neighbourhood** at one or two hops, its links in and out, and a way to open it where it lives, such as **Open in Project Memory** or **Open task**.
- **Find on the map** looks up a task, result, record or role. **Fit all** shows everything again.

## Lenses

**Lens** changes what stands out: **Overview**, **Needs review**, **Missing context**, **Ready for AI**, **Project Memory**, or **Task focus** (a task and what is two links around it).

## Using it

- Before changing a decision, select it and see which tasks and results are linked to it.
- Select a task and use **Task focus** to see what it is connected to.
- An empty map means the project has nothing connected yet.

Only links on the Planning board can be edited from the map; everything else follows the project.
